Dale Edward Kelly of Alexandria, VA, age 62, passed away February 11, 2016, after a short illness. He was proceeded in death by his parents, John William Kelly of Demossville, KY, and Agnes Wathley Kelly of Alexandria, VA. He was a dear and caring husband to his wife of 41 years Ruth Lee Kelly and children Christina Louise Kelly of Springfield, VA, and John Timothy Kelly and his wife, Carrie, of Bethesda, MD.

Dale was born in Washington, DC, on February 12, 1953, and graduated from Edison High School in 1971. He earned his Associates Degree in Business from Northern Virginia Community College. After high school, Dale began working in the printing industry, where he continued to work until his retirement in 2015.

Dale's hobbies included a love of music, he was the number one fan of the local band Traitors and Thieves; traveling, with trips to Italy, New Zealand, and Australia; and a devotion to family. At night he could always be found enjoying his daily crossword puzzle with a nice glass of red wine, reading, or watching the Three Stooges. Dale led a good, full life and will be greatly missed by friends and family.
