Isaac Harrison, Soldier and Patriot is listed on the Sons of the American Revolution Veterans of the Revolutionary War plaque at the gate
entrance.

"Isaac Harrison, 1744 - 31 Jan 1806, Pvt., 9th Bn., LCM," was recorded in President Oscar H Stroh's (Harris Ferry Chapter Sons of the American Revolution) Revolutionary War Soldiers Buried in Dauphin County Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, PA, 1988, p 5.

Dr. Thomas H. Robinson's Historical Sketch of Old Hanover..., 1878, gives Isaac's birthdate: 1744. Page 22-23, he signed two petitions in 1787 and 1788. The amount was equal to the persons annual county tax. Page 26: Isaac Harrison, Jr. married Nancy Crain on 27 Apr 1803. Page 27 lists James, son of Isaac and Sarah Harrison was born on 12 Nov 1787 and baptized on May 18 (1788). Page 29: Sarah, born to Isaac and Sarah Harrison and was baptized on June 6 (1790). Page 32: says he was a church member 1787-1804 (the early recorded date by Dr. Robinson was 1787, though it was much older). Page 35 says he contributed (congregation assessment) 5£ and 10 shillings toward the Old Hanover Churchyard wall in 1797.
