JAMES IVAN WINSHIP
Death claimed James Ivan Winshlp yesterday at a hospital in this city, after being ill but a few days. He had been a resident of San Bernardlno for the past three years, being a car carpenter at the Santa Fe. He came to this city from Cheyenne, Wyo.
Surviving are: The widow, Mrs. Claudia Winship of 1028 W Eighth street and two stepchildren, Clara and Cressy. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Mrs. Ivan Winship and daughter Clara will leave this evening for Henry, Illinois, taking the body of Mr. Winship to his birthplace for burial. The Winshlps have lived here three years.

Funeral service for James Ivan Winshlp was held yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the chapel with the Rev. C. C. Roberts of the First Christian church officiating. Mrs. Roberts sang the numbers, "The City Four-Square" and "Does Jesus Care." A sister from Portland attended the service. The body was shipped last night to Henry, Ill, the widow, Mrs. Claudia Wlnship, and daughter, Clara, accompanying it east.
