(aka: Mardin Franck) First child of John William & Barbara Walk Frank, born in either PA or VA in 1752. The family settled in the Abbotts Creek area of Davidson Co. Martin married Barbara Boss. They had 6 children. Martin Frank was a trustee of the Lutheran Congregation of Beck's Union Church in 1787.
Barbara married John Rickard, Jr. after Martin's death in 1802, and went west where a number of her children had settled. Children are listed as: Philip, John, Frances, Andrew, George, and Peter Martin.
