Simon Lee Ellis, 57 of Dallas, Texas formerly of West Columbia, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016. He was born November 29, 1958 in Angleton, Texas to Happy Jack and Jeanette Maxine (Watson) Ellis.

Simon is survived by his wife, Kathy Kingrea Ellis; mother, Jeanette Begley; brothers, Jackie Ellis and wife, Donna; Walter Ellis and LeaAnn; sister, Demarice Perdue along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Happy Jack Ellis.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Pastor Bobby Hankins officiating.
Burial will follow at Columbia Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kenny Stanford, Billy Jenn, Ronnie Ellis, Charles Lacina, Michael Ellis and Justin Lacina. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Lewis, Eric Perdue and Adam Perdue.
