Fred was born on August 3, 1958 and raised in Albuquerque.
Fred is survived by three brothers and four sisters.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Monico Abeyta and sisters, Rebecca and Loraine.
Fred attended West Mesa High School, then Cibola when boundaries were changed. Fred worked in construction most of his life, but the last two years worked at odd jobs and enjoyed helping some of the homeless and poor in the city by being a caring friend.
Funeral services will be at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church on Monday, February 29, 2016 starting at 8:00 a.m. with the Rosary, mass at 9:00 a.m. and followed by a reception and eulogies at the Parish Hall. Fred will be buried at the San Carlos Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials in his name can be made to Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless, envelopes will be provided at the Church.
