Linda, 72, joined heaven’s angels February 20, 2016. The daughter of Walter & Lovie (Oliver) Meadows, she was born August 13, 1943 in Howe, OK. After graduation from Poteau H.S. she married Joe Poe & together they moved to Oklahoma City in 1964, where they raised their children. Linda worked for many years at Oklahoma National Bank, later worked as a legal assistant, & was currently working at Vondel Smith Mortuary as an administrative assistant. Linda had a kind heart, a loving smile, & lived her life as a Godly woman. Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her husband Joe; her sons: Andy Poe & Adam Hildebrand; Daughters Angela Brown & Amy Winter; brother, Walter Meadows; sister, Becky Melloan; grandchildren: Samuel Brown, Hunter Woolum, Aiden Woolum, & Arden Woolum; Sister-In-Law, Charlene Willett & her son Phil; & her faithful Cocker Spaniel, Lady. Linda will be missed by her family, friends & her co-workers.
Services to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Vondel Smith Mortuary at South Lakes. In lieu of flowers, make donations in Linda's name to your selected breast cancer, or pet rescue society fund. Leave a condolence for the family at vondelsmithmortuary.com
