ELIZABETH CAROL “BETTY” FRAZIER, age 70, of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at her residence. She was born on September 20, 1945 in Brook Land, WV to the late David and Leva (Evans) Nichols. On May 29, 1995, she married George Frazier and were happily married for 21 years.

Betty is survived by three children: Dawn (Matthew Crowley) Ruhl of Columbus, OH, Annie Pickett of Richwood, OH and Donna (Stephen) Askins of Elgin, IL; one granddaughter: Natalie Pickett of Richwood, OH; brother: Charles David (Barbara) Nichols of Green Camp, OH; and sister: June (Calvin Phillips) Wilson of Aransas Park, TX. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Mary Ann Dye.

Betty ran BJ’s Fabrics for 20 years in Sidney and worked at Walmart for 13 years. After retirement, Betty had a booth at the Sidney Farmer’s Market with her husband, George, for 10 years. She loved cooking for her family, baking for people, and was a voracious reader. Betty also loved playing Rummy and doing puzzles with George. She loved music, especially Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd and Elvis.

Friends may call from 4-6 PM on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney Ohio. Private graveside services will be held at Shelby Memory Gardens with Rev. Harold McKnight officiating.
