My favorite story about Grandma and Granddaddy was told to me by my Uncle Richard. He came down to breakfast one morning just before Granddaddy passed away. He asked Dick, "Where's your Mother?" He replied, "She's getting dressed and will be right down Dad." When Grandma walked in the room, Granddaddy looked at her with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye and said, "There's my girl!"
