Nancy was the daughter of Samuel Paris (1813-1888)and his wife Catharine Burget (1819-1878). They lived in Clinton County, Indiana, where Nancy was born, the fifth of their twelve children. She married Mark T. Campbell 12 March 1889. They had no children. Her maiden was given incorrectly on her death certificate.
Nancy's brother, Salem A. Paris, made the following affidavit in Clinton County, Indiana,10 May 1918, that says in part:
Affiant further states that Samuel Paris, the father of this affiant, is the same person as Samuel Paris, who is one of the grantors in a deed to Nancy H Paris, dated Nov 21 1888, in Record Record 74:78 in office of Recorded, & that Samuel Paris was a widower & unmarried at time of last mentioned deed.

Affiant further states that Nancy H Paris, mentioned above, afterward married Mark T Campbell, & is the same person as Nancy H Campbell, who is one of the grantors in a deed to Fred Roush, dated Nov 19 1890, recorded in Deed Record 80:273 in office of the Recorder, & that Mark T Campbell,k whose name appears thus in the granting clause of last mentioned deed & also in the acknowledgment thereof, is the same person as M T Campbell who signed the same, Mark T Campbell being his true & correct name.

Affiant further states that his sister Nancy H Campbell & her husband Mark T Campbell mentioned above, now reside in Ozark, Mo.
