The 1910 & 1920 US Census Reports show that Lloyd was living in Duluth, Minnesota, working for the US Government as a Life Saver. In fact, the 1920 US Census indicates that Clarence, Lloyd's 16 year old son was also working as at the Coast Guard Station. Lloyd served at other Great Lakes Lifesaving Stations prior to coming to the Duluth Station.
One of Lloyd's sisters, Emma Margaret (Robbins) Oakes (FAG #77031170) is buried in a cemetery in Alpena, Michigan.
