Nancy J. Early of Roslyn, Pennsylvania died Saturday, November 8, 2008 at her residence. She was 69 years old. Nancy was born August 23, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Adrian Kathman and the late Jane Marie Kathman (nee - Schlosser).
She is the beloved wife of the late Lawrence P. Early. Mother of Christine Anne Houpt and her husband Tom Schultz, Stacy Marie Lynch and Lawrence Peter Early Jr. Grandmother of Erin, Amanda and Shane Early, Steven and Adrianna Lynch. Sister of Tom and his wife Sue Kathman, Pat and her husband Jim Morris, Debbie and her husband Fred Ewald and Marybeth and her husband Steve Asbach. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Vereinigung Erzgebirge and was very involved in their soccer program as well as the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association.
Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing, Friday, November 14, 2008 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. and her funeral service at 10:30 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 North Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA. 19090. A cemetery service at Hillside Cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Road, Roslyn, PA 19001 followed the funeral service. Religious services were conducted a priest from St. John of the Cross Church, 2741 Woodland Road, Roslyn, PA 19001.
