Thomas Calvin Little of Cohutta passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. He was born July 2, 1932 and was 83 years of age at the time of his passing.
Tom or “TC” was preceded in death by his first wife of fifty-nine years, Mary Sue Peden-Little; father, Rev. Charles Allen Little and mother, Lela Bell Lassetter-Little; sisters, Charlene Overton, Irene Ott, Clara Hein and brother, Donald Little.
Tom was a member and deacon of New Covenant Baptist Church of Cohutta, GA. He was a retired commercial plumber and a member of the Local 43 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union, of Chattanooga, TN; Tom was a jack of all trades who enjoyed building all types of motorized vehicles and looked forward to the next new project. He enjoyed racing go-karts, motorcycles, and dune buggies, jeeps and British sports cars.
He leaves his wife of three years, Mary Odell-Little of Trenton, Ga. He is also survived by his son, Rev. T. Michael Little, RA (Patricia) and daughter, Tambra Little of Cohutta, GA, stepson Kevin O’Dell (Judy) of Trenton, GA and stepdaughter Kim O’Dell-McCoy (Kibbee) of Morrison, TN; grandchildren, Carrie Bates-Jackson (Marlon) of Cohutta, Robin Little-Croninger (Rev. Shawn) of Toccoa, GA, Corey Bates (Angela), and April Little-Martin (Durad) of Cohutta, GA, Devin O’Dell of Trenton, and Sean Hudson of Dalton, GA. Beloved great-grandchildren, Hannah and Hallie Jackson, Eden, Jaden, Adeline, and Rylan Croninger, and Connor Hudson. He is also survived by sisters Gert Smith of East Ridge, TN, Wanda Harmon of Foley, AL, and Lavella Reading of Chattanooga, TN and brothers, Gaither “Don” Little of Cohutta, GA, Breland “Bud” Little of Chattanooga, TN, Milton Ray Little and Levoy Little of Houston, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Dr. Jake Carroll, Rev. Rayford Brown and Rev. Michael Little RA officiating.
Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Serving as pall bearers are Corey Bates, Marlon Jackson, Rev. Shawn Croninger, Sean Hudson, Kevin O’Dell, and Rob Chase.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m

He will not be forgotten......... * His Grandparents are; Thomas Marion Little (1870-1907) and Sarah Melinda Ann Gann-Little (1873-1963). Both of Ider, Alabama Dekalb County on Sand Mountain.
