Joseph B. McKnight, 70, of Scranton and husband of Michelle McKnight, died Friday, February 19, 2016 at Lake City Community Hospital after an illness.
Joe was an active member of Gilead Free Will Baptist Church, and the Scholars Sunday School Class. His closest friends were his pastor, Brother Larry D. McAlister and Sunday School teacher, Earl Bazen.
Joe was born April 8, 1945, in York, South Carolina, a son of the late Samuel McKnight and Mary Garris McKnight. He was a self-employed business owner and veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Vietnam era. Joe enjoyed his work, and drinking coffee with his friends at the Huddle House.
