She was born in Effingham, N.H., daughter of the late Thomas F. and Sarah (Ryan) Champion.
Her husband is a former state legislator, former counsel for the Town of Swampscott, former Swampscott town treasurer and a former Swampscott selectman.
Mrs. Morley was a graduate of Lynn English High School and attended Leslie College of Boston. She was a graduate of Salem Normal School.
She began her teaching career in the late 1920's in Maynard, and taught in Roxbury before coming to the Swampscott school system in 1930. She retired from teaching upon her marriage in 1937.
Mrs. Morley was a member of the Salem State College Alumni Association, the Swampscott Women's Club, the Swampscott Fortnightly Club and the Swampscott Gilden Age group.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one brother, Frederick R. Champion of Center Ossipee, N.H.; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Durkee of Swampscott and Mrs. Mabel French of Boxford; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the T.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 67 Ocean St., Lynn. Thursday with a Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Swampscott at 10.
