Joshua (also Josiah) Benjamin was credited under Captain John
Cutler June 27, I676. Captain Cutler was engaged during King
Philip's War on various occasions in conducting supply trains
to the garrison, and at the time of Captain Wadsworth's destruction
of Sudbury on April 21, 1676, narrowly escaped being cut off with
his company returning from Marlborough.
Joshua's Will was dated April 5, 1684, and proved June 17,
1684 with a value of 177 pounds. He devised to John Fowle 10
square feet of land for stables, with the residue to his wife,
and then at the decease of his wife, to his brother Abel.
