Paul O. Holder was born on a farm in Sulphur, Oklahoma on September 7, 1919 to Tom & Nellie Byrd Holder; and went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 31, 2008 in Norman, Oklahoma.

Paul was truly 'One in a Million' and will be greatly missed by his family, and many friends in Oklahoma and Pecos, New Mexico. Paul's primary goal in life was to share the love of Jesus Christ and help the less fortunate, which he did for all of his 88 years. He was a long time member of Bethel Baptist Church in Norman, Oklahoma and formerly belonged to Country Estates Baptist Church in MWC, Oklahoma. He was also a 32nd degree perpetual member of Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and The Blue Lodge in Oklahoma City. Paul's first job was as a 12 year old paper boy for the Sulphur Times Democrat in 1933 making 35 cents a week.

Paul founded TP Machine & Tool Company in Oklahoma City in 1974 along with his wife Gladys, and son Tom. He nurtured the business with all the tender loving care of a fine craftsman, ensuring both it's early survival and eventual growth into a company with customers nation wide, and continuation as a family business now on the 3rd generation. He continued to work at the company everyday until his recent illness at age 88, and was thankful for many loyal friends, employee's and customers for their contribution to the success of the Company.

Mr. Holder was preceded in death by his beloved wife Gladys Rose, his grandson Stephen Lofton, Jr. and most recently on September 16, 2007 his beloved son Tommy Allen Holder.

Paul is survived by daughters Paula Kelly, Fredericksburg, Virginia; Judy Porter and her husband Lawnie Porter of Norman; and also by his special friend, Wanda Melton of Norman, Oklahoma.
