Danny Ray Roberts, 72 of Afton, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 after a short illness.
Danny was born March 13, 1943 to Frank James and Juanita (Seaton) Roberts in Seneca, Missouri.
He shared his life with his wife Bonnie (McCoin) Williams for over 20 years.
A Veteran of Vietnam and member of the American Legion, he was a mechanic by trade, but his true passion was raising cattle. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Lloyd Roberts and Bob Roberts, one sister Edna Shaffer.
Survivors wife Bonnie of the home, two sons Jack and wife Shannon Roberts of Afton, OK and Rowdy Cawlfield of Lahoma, OK three daughters Dana and husband Larry Malinski of Afton, OK, Debra and husband Doug Hudelson of Miami, OK and Brianna and husband Jimmy Barton of Miami, OK, two brothers Jimmy Dale Roberts of Seneca, MO, Jesse Roberts of Drumright, OK one sister Shirley Kershaw of Carl Junction, MO 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held 10:00 am Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Paul Thomas Family Center in Miami, Oklahoma. Inurnment will be at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery Bluejacket, Oklahoma at a later date. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to an organization very dear to Danny’s heart, The Akdar Shrine of Miami, Oklahoma.
