Fern Marie Miller, age 88, of Minnesota Lake, MN died Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at her home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the Wells United Methodist Church, with Pr. Paul Woolverton officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 22, 2016 from 4 - 7 PM at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, MN, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Fern Marie was born February 3, 1928, the daughter of Clarence and Eva Ruth (Corner) Fredrickson. She was united in marriage to Robert Miller on August 30, 1945 in the Dunbar Church, and to this union 4 children were born. Fern loved baking and playing cards with friends and family. She loved a good joke!
She is survived by her sister, Doris Beckmann of New Richland, MN; children: Ron (Teri) Miller of Sumter, SC, Dale (Carol) Miller of Apple Valley, MN, Clay (Sharyn) Miller of Wells, MN, and Kris (Charlie) Jones of Hollywood, FL; 10 grandchildren: Perrin (Kyomi) Miller, Daniel (Shay) Miller, Brandon (Robyn) Miller, Laura Miller, Amy (David) Engelhard, Kirstyn (Britt) Wegner, Tamera Miller, Jillian (Charlie) Wirth, Joseph Miller and Dustin Jones; 6 great-grandchildren: Lion Miller, Elsa Miller, Evelyn Miller, Simon Engelhard, Peyton and Lucas Jones; special friend, Harrison Miller.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Wayne Fredrickson, and sister Janice Niles.
