Betty Ruth Goehring, 86, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on February 16, 2016. She was born July 11, 1929 in Arneckeville, Tx to Benjamin and Sophie Hotz Kruse. Betty and her husband, Alois Goehring, had over 63 wonderful years together.

Betty was employed with Texas Instruments for over 25 years and after retirement enjoyed camping trips around Texas with her husband. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, painting, sewing, cooking, and working in her flower gardens. She would do anything and everything for anyone who needed help of any kind. She was a strong-willed lady who faced her illness with great strength. She loved her family very much and was devoted to her Lord and Savior. She was a long-time parishioner at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Sugar Land, Tx. She will be greatly missed by all her loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mary Ann Benton, and by her husband, Al.

Survivors include daughter, Carol, and husband, Danny Terral; daughter, Angela Kreutzfeldt; son, Christopher Goehring; daughter, Sharon Piece; son, David and wife, Margarita Goehring. Grandchildren include Russell and wife, Katie Terral, Evan Goehring, and John Pierce, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jonathan & wife Rocio Duckworth, Stephen Duckworth, and Rosemary Duckworth; great-great-grandchildren, Leylah Duckworth and Aron Banuelos; and two very special people in her life, Pete Kreutzfeldt and Jay Garza; and also sister, Dorothy Jean and husband, Wayne Boehm; and aunt, Claudia Pyka; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home and Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77077 on Sunday, February 21, 2016, 5:00-8:00 p.m., with rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass service will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 705 St. Theresa Blvd., Sugar Land, TX 77498 on Monday, February 22, 2016, at 11 a.m., with burial following at Forest Park Westheimer, and a reception following burial at St. Theresa's Community Center.
