Mary Lou Broadway, age 84, formerly of Golconda, IL, passed away at Bria of Geneva in Geneva, IL.
Mary Lou was born April 11, 1931 to William Burtis and Ina (Myers) Dixon in Harrisburg, IL. She married Joel Broadway on November 26, 1953; he preceded her on September 15, 2012. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Golconda. Mary Lou and Joel traveled all over the world.

Mary Lou is survived by, one son, Tim and wife Diane Broadway of Montgomery, Illinois; one daughter, Melonie and husband Marvin Wargo, Jr. of Cumming, Georgia; five grandchildren, Robert, Billy, Daniel, Katilyn, and Rebecca; one sister, Reba Dixon Rice; one brother, Burtis Wayne Dixon.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by six siblings, Ivan Earl Dixon, George Dixon, Barbara Mattingly, Nora Dixon Price, Hazel Annette Dixon, and Edna Gidcomb.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday February 20, 2016 at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville,IL. The service will be conducted by Rev. Billy E. Green. Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Golconda, IL. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Friday February 19, at the funeral home.
