Alice E. Montgomery, 86, of 500 Grattan, died Sunday afternoon in a local nursing home following an extended illness.
Born April 29, 1875, in Jackson County, she had lived in Topeka since 1929. Her husband, Irwin E. Montgomery, preceded her in death in 1939.

Services will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Penwell-Gabel Chapel. Burial will be in Topeka Cemetery.
