She was a retired administrative assistant for the Louisville-Jefferson County Planning Commission and a member of the Good Shepherd Parish (formerly Church of Our Lady). She was an avid U of L fan.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Clary; brothers, Sherman and John Hildreth; and daughter-in-law, Charlene England.
Survivors include her son, Don England; two daughters, Shirley Appler and Becky Slone (Cullen); four siblings, Vanita Brock, Mildred Elstone, Edna Hall and Jim Hildreth; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday at Good Shepherd Parish, 3511 Rudd Avenue, followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons, 2114 West Market Street.
