Robert Allen Stinnett, 78, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, while surrounded by his family. He was born August 23, 1937, in Lexington, Kentucky, son of the late Eldon L. and Grace Shearer Stinnett. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Fay Mitchell Stinnett; son, Mark (Angie); daughter, Dana; grandchildren, Katie, Mark Allen, Danielle, Corey, Nicholas and Madison; several great-grandchildren; brother, Eldon “Butch”; sisters, Mary, Jenny, Darlene, Marlene; many nieces and nephews. His sister, Thelma, preceded him in death. He retired from Georgia Pacific/Dixie Cup after 43 years. He was a long time member and Sunday school teacher at Bryan Station Baptist Church. Interment will be in Boonesboro Cemetery, Winchester, Clark County, Kentucky.
