James Lee Arnette, 82, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Arnette was born September 2, 1928, in Duplin County to the late Fred and Annie Rogers Arnette.

Mr. Arnette is survived by wife, Sudie M. Arnette of the home; son, Franklin Arnette and Lesley Hall of Kenansville; daughter, Regina Kilpatrick and husband, Billy of Kenansville; brother Dempsey Arnette of Kenansville; grandchildren, Shane Arnette, Jason Arnette and wife, Roybn, Robin K. Mewborn and husband, Wesley, David Kilpatrick, and Kayla Kilpatrick; and great-grandchildren, Rachel and Ashley Arnette.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Arnette was predeceased by brothers, Hubert Arnette and Chancey Arnette; and sister, Curvie Kornegay.

Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2010, at Kenansville Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the church, with entombment at Devotional Gardens.
