He was born June 13,1959 in Pasadena, CA, the son of Charles R. Clifton I and Anina Lecour. He was a tree trimmer with Anthrop's Tree Service in Lafayette until his retirement in 2011. He enjoyed NASCAR and dirt track racing, fishing, sports and attending his granddaughter's sporting events.
He is survived by his best friend Dorothy Clifton of Lafayette, son CJ Clifton of Lafayette, daughter Sabrina Clifton of Lafayette, a brother Michael Battering of Lafayette, two sisters Linda Nowell of Lafayette and Charlene (Maynard) Bresnahan of Lafayette, his granddaughter Rilee Clifton of Lafayette and several nieces and nephews, and his lifetime friend Andy Kawlewski of West Lafayette.
Services will be at 2pm Monday February 22 at the Chapel at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, where friends may call from Noon until time of services. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
