Sarah 'Daggie' Greathouse, 93, of Minier, IL, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Hopedale Nursing Home. Sarah was born February 15, 1923 in Armington to Hezekiah and Etta Ayers Greathouse. The preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were five sisters, Mary, Minnie, Gladys, Olive, Sylvia, two brothers, Ford, Herbert, and one nephew John D. Greathouse, whom she helped raise.

Sarah is survived by a nieces, Phyllis Myers, Kari (Brian) Slager, Stephanie (Josh) McCartney, a nephew, John (Kelli) Greathouse Jr, and many more loved ones.

Sarah had worked at State Farm for over 30 years.

Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, February 22, 2016 at Haensel Funeral Home in Minier. Rev. Frank Brozenec will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to Hopedale Nursing Home Activities Fund or Minier Fire & Rescue. Burial will be at Minier Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.haenselfuneralhome.com.
