Mrs. Loretta Gibson, age 77 of Gibson Road in Manchester, passed away Tuesday, February 26th, 2008 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born August 10th, 1930 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Lester & Margaret Hollin Bowman. She was a homemaker & a member of the Bethany Bible Church.

She is survived by the following children: Dennis Gibson, David Gibson, Ronnie Gibson, Darlene Gray, Omega Collins, Elaine Gray, Frankie Gibson, Chuckie Philpot, Sherrie Gibson, Cherrie Grubb, Roy Gibson, Ray Gibson, Connie Sue Henson, & Sandra Gibson all of Manchester, Kentucky, 35 Grandchildren, 47 Great Grandchildren, and these brothers & sisters: Helen Martin of Island Creek, H. L. Bowman of Michigan, Jack Bowman of London, & Perry Bowman of Mt. Vernon & a host of other relatives & friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Lawrence Gibson, her parents: Lester & Margaret Bowman, her great grandson: Austin Gibson, 1 brother & 2 sisters.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Loretta Gibson will be Saturday, March 1st, 2008 at 2 PM at the Bethany Bible Church. Rev. Travis Fields will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandlin Branch Cemetery in the Rader Community.
