George Arion Jr., 92, of Flora passed away at 3:07 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at McKinney Place in Logansport.

Born on December 28, 1923 in Carroll County, Indiana, he was the son of the late George W. and Mabel (Hardy) Arion.

He was a graduate of Carrollton High School

On September 4, 1948, George married his late wife, Marjorie M. Hile.

George retired from General Tire in 1986, he was a life member of the Moose and he enjoyed playing cards, car shows, and camping.

Survivors include daughter, Marilyn McDaniel (Robert) of Star City, son, Rick Arion of New Castle, sisters; Doris Blackburn of Flora, and Krenta Keller (Don) of Rossville. George is also survived by grandson, Justin McDaniel of Lafayette, and great-grandsons; Weston Arion and Logan McDaniel.

He was also preceded in death by grandson, Daniel Arion.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Hopewell Cemetery in Deer Creek with Chapain Richard Olson officiating.
