Cecil "Butch" W. Hunter, 66, of Greenwood, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, in Greenwood.
He was born April 22, 1949, in Franklin to Erskine and Alta May (Lasiter) Hunter.
He was employed at Arvin's in Greenwood, where he worked on the production line.
He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and watching sports. He graduated from Whiteland Community High School, class of 1968.
He is survived by his three brothers, Michael Hunter(Belinda) and Erskine "Pete" Hunter, Jr., both of Greenwood, and Charles Hunter(Jacqueline) of Whiteland. He also is survived by his nephews, Michael Hunter, Jr., Jeremy Hunter, Erskine Hunter III, Matthew Hunter, Tyler Rosberg and Ryan Rosberg, and two nieces, Amanda Warren and Angela Hunter.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; and his sister-in-law, Barbara "Jody" Hunter.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Glenns Valley in Greenwood.
