Mrs. Carrie E. Savage, 82, of Lake City died at the Stewart memorial Hospital, Lake City, Thursday morning.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at the Woodlawn Christian Church, Lake City, with the Rev. Chris Nettles officiating. Burial will be in the Lake City Cemetery under the direction of the Huffman Memorial Chapel, Lake City.
Friends may call at the Huffman Memorial Chapel, Lake City, after 11 a.m. Friday.
Mrs. Savage, daughter of Elmer and Lida Gist Daisy, was born on Sept. 2, 1894 in Lake City. Her marriage to Charles Savage took place on March 31, 1915 at Lake City. She was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church....
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Beulah Veerhusen of Lake City, Mrs. Enno (Evelyn) Rietmeier of Jolley, Mrs. Huber (Joyce) Babcock of Farnhamville and three sons: Charles Savage, Jr. of Lake City, Clifford Savage of Alexandria, Va., and Earl (Pete) Savage of Lake City, 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Frank and Bill Daisy, both of Lake City.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by parents, three sisters and two brothers.
