Dora Ann Hayes, age 57, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at the Pioneer Community Hospital in Oneida, Tennessee.

Dora was born on February 28, 1958, in Ohio, the daughter of Kenneth and Dorothy Lockmiller. She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Lockmiller and her son, Bruce Hayes, Jr.

Surviving family include her husband Bruce Hayes of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, whom she married May 3, 1986, her mother, Dorothy Lockmiller of Soddy Daisy, two sisters: Susie Holloway (husband Johnny), Anita Lockmiller, Sam Lockmiller (wife Jill), and Aaron Lockmiller all of Soddy Daisy, three grandchildren: Trevor, Trace and LeeAnn, her mother-in-law Jewelene Calhoun of Revelo, Kentucky, and sister-in-law Linda Bowling (husband Charlie) of Helenwood, Tennessee.

Dora was a homemaker and member of the Union Fork Baptist Church. She enjoyed teaching Bible classes, cooking and camping. When she was able, she enjoyed working. She worked at Oster in Dayton, Tennessee for 18 years. She also worked at Crystal, Inc, making gospel music CD’s.
Funeral Services: Friday, February 19, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at McCreary County Funeral Home.

Visitation: Thursday, February 18 from 6:00-9:00PM at the funeral home.

Burial: Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery, Stearns, Kentucky
