Rita Rogers, 72, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 1:10 PM on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at her residence in Montpelier. She was born on Saturday, September 11, 1943, in Winchester, IN. She married Gary W. Rogers on Friday, November 27, 1970 in First Baptist Church, Montpelier, IN. Rita was an only child. She attended Montpelier High School. Rita was a licensed Optician. She had worked for Dr. Mark Strahn at Portland Eye, New Vision Optical, and the Montpelier City Hall.
