Ronald Dean Larsen was born April 21st 1946 in Omaha, NE to Donald and Marjorie Larsen.
He attended Holy Name School, a Catholic parochial school in Omaha.
After entering the Army, he guarded the Berlin Wall in Germany.
He was employed by DX in Omaha and then became an over-the-road truck driver traveling coast to coast.
Ronald Dean Larsen, age 72 of Blair, entered eternity Tuesday, February 16th, 2016 in Omaha, Nebraska.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Left with memories are his wife Carolyn; six children and spouses; 11 grandchildren and spouses; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters and their husbands, several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved granddaughter Jessica Rasmussen, son-in-law Don Hope and brother-in-law Frank Perroto
Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Thursday, including a Vigil Service at 7 pm, at the Campbell ~ Aman Funeral Home in Blair, Nebraska. Memorial Service 10 am Friday, February 19, 2016 St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, Blair, Nebraska. Officiating: Father Mario Rapose. Special Music: Lynn & Steve Sobota. Musical Selections: “Old Rugged Cross”, “Amazing Grace”, “Hosea”. Pallbearers: Kevin Rasmussen, Auggie Rasmussen, Michael Davis, Shawn Hughes, Ben Larsen, Sam Larsen. Graveside Services Blair Cemetery, Blair, Nebraska.
