Marcus was born in Bowling Green to Vaughn Phillips and Tamara Melton. Marcus is survived by his father Vaughn M. Phillips of Lima and mother: Tamara Melton of Bowling Green; siblings: Dominic B. Phillips , Jevaughn J. Phillips, Anthony C. Creath and Q’Vonte M. Phillips and his grandmother Joyce Melton and step-mother Katina Coleman of Lima. Marcus enjoyed writing and composing music, watching scary movies, a good game of basketball and football. He was an avid Carolina Panthers Fan. Marcus was beautiful artist and loved spending time with his family and friends.
