Mary Adelaide Denton Long, 79, New Castle, formerly of Indianapolis, died February 24. She had worked for the Family Security Administration and the Army Map Service, both in Indianapolis. She was a member of Tri Kappa Sorority, New Castle and the Altruistic Literacy Club. During World War II, Mrs. Long worked for the American Red Cross. A 1940 graduate of Butler University, she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
Services February 27 in First Presbyterian Church, New Castle with burial at South Mound Cemetery.
Survivors: husband, Pierre Long; daughters, Susan J. Caldwell and Mary Pier Bulgarelli; and brother, George S. Denton.
