I love you, Aunt Vivian. You and Uncle Paul were always awesome. I'll never forget Brenda indulging my love of Barbies when she was a teen and Rod defending me from rogue cousins as a kiddo.

Vivian Sprynczynatyk, 75, Bismarck, died February 17, at CHI St. Alexius Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 22, at House of Prayer Lutheran Church with Rev. Dave Swonger officiating. Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 21, from 5 -7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 at Bismarck Funeral Home.

Vivian Johnson was born in Bismarck to Alf and Ruth Johnson. She was raised in Regan, ND and Bismarck. She attended Bismarck High School and Bismarck Junior College.

She married Paul Sprynczynatyk, June 3, 1961. They had three children, Joseph, Rodney, and Brenda. She was employed as the Chief Deputy Clerk of Courts at U.S Federal Building where she served for 31 years before retiring in 2000.

Vivian loved to read and knit and be out in the sun. She was involved in her church's Bible Study Group.

She is survived by her husband Paul; son Rod (Lynette); and her grandchildren: Brynn, Brent and Joshua.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alf and Ruth Johnson; brothers Keith and Virgil; and a daughter, Brenda Lakosky and son, Joseph Sprynczynatyk.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Bismarck Cancer Center.
