Phyllis Lorraine Hunter age 75, found peace on Monday, February 15, 2016. She was born on June 14, 1940 in Sheboygan to parents William and Esther (Bagemehl) Mohr. Phyllis attended Sheboygan Central High School. She was united in marriage on January 24, 1959 to Franklin Hunter. Phyllis and Franklin enjoyed attending dances throughout the area. She was very devoted to her family and friends. Phyllis was very proud her dough boy collection. She enjoyed animals, listening to country music and relaxing with family, friends and neighbors in the backyard. Phyllis always looked forward to her weekly lunch with her childhood friend, Suzan. Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Franklin; four children, Geraldine (Mark) Bergin, Donna (special friend Jim Brunnbauer) Simpson, Tammy (David) Biszmaier and Gary Hunter; six grandchildren, Shelley (Jon) Notz, Jennifer (Josh) Behr, Eric, Jeffrey and Sarah Biszmaier and Alec Hunter; two great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Jaylin; one sister, Jean Stevens; son-in-law, Mike Simpson. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters, daughter-in-law, Kim A. Hunter.The family will gather to celebrate Phyllis's life in the chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6706 Superior Avenue on Monday, February 22 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
