Charles Alver Shoffner was born May 8, 1928 in Salina Kansas. He died at the age of 87 on February 16, 2016 in Oklahoma City. He worked in the sand and gravel business all of his life, including serving as President of the Oklahoma Sand and Gravel Association for several years. He enjoyed coin collecting and stamp collecting. He like to fish, and to camp and was always looking for a quick way to make money. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his daughters Suellen (& Michael) Miller and Kris (& Martin) Webb; his sons, Chuck (& Paula) Shoffner, Richard Likes, Brian Likes, and Craig (& Annie) Likes; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; his brother Larry (& Laura) Shoffner; and his sister-in-law, Verna Lee Shoffner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulysses and Myrtle Shoffer; his twin brother David Shoffner; his younger brother Ned Shoffner; and his sister Shirley Weaver. He is missed already. Memorial Services to celebrate Charles Shoffner will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 at the United Life Church and Spiritual Center located at 3332 N. Meridian in Oklahoma City.
