Mrs. Lang was a native of Simpson County. She was the daughter of Hinds Runnels and Myrtle Victoria Butler Runnels. She worked for Delphi Corporation many years before retiring. She was Baptist in faith and was a member of the Rock Hill Baptist Church. She loved her family very much and enjoyed giving of herself to make the ones around her happy. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Lang was preceded in death by her parents, Hinds Runnels and Mytle Victoria Butler Runnels; son, James Dickie “PeeWee” Lang; grandson, Marshall Eric Styron; brother, Ervin Runnels and sister, Mattie Butler.
Mrs. Lang is survived by her children, Paul Lang, Jr. of Brandon, MS and Janet Lang (George) Styron of Brandon, MS; sister, Bobbie Cook; grandchildren, Joey Lang, James Lang and Jessica Vanderford; great grandchild, Laikyn Lang; step grandchildren, Johnelyn Lloyd, Elizabeth Brock and Blair Crowson; 7 step great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
