PINEVILLE, Mo. — Terry Dale Leach, 71, of Pineville, Mo., died Nov. 28, 1999, at his home. He was born July 24, 1928, at Pea Ridge to Terry William and Dorothy Mae Keene Leach. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. A staff sergeant, he was mobilized with the National Guard's 936th Field Artillery Battalion, Battery A of Bentonville. He served 20 months in the Korean War, 11 of them on the combat lines. After his honorable discharge from the Army National Guard, he drove trucks for Tyson Foods and Willis-Shaw. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a member of Whittenburg Church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Leach of the home; four sons, William Dale Leach of Bella Vista and Terry Dillon Leach, Robert Dean Leach and Danny Leach, all of Pineville; one brother, Clayton Leach of Pineville; one sister, Cloeta Lynch of Rogers; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pea Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church with Jamie Cope, Bill Oxner and Brian Tidwell officiating. Burial will be in Pea Ridge Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Honor Guard of Bella Vista Post 9063, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
