He died in the Gila County Hospital, Gobe, Arizona. At the time of his death, 9:50 P.M., August 31, 1923 he was age 69 years. Cause of Death: Broncho Pneumonia 10 days. Burial in Globe Cemetery, Gila County on September 4, 1923.

The death of Frank Monroe Hardeman, well known cattleman of the district, occurred at a local hospital here Friday evening at 3:50 o'clock. He was 69 years of age and had resided in the district for a number of years. Recently he had been employed by Robinson and Young. A nephew, Will Thompson, residing at San Marcos, Texas, has been notified of the death and is on his way to Globe. Funeral arrangements have been delayed pending his arrival. Mr. Hardeman's death was due to an attack of pneumonia.
