Ray Farley Interred at Waucoma on Friday
WAUCOMA-Funeral Services for Ray Farley, 82, wh died at Palmer Memorial hospital, West Union, IA on July 30 were conducted Friday afternoon from the Federated church with Rev James Engel officiating. Reed's Funeral home was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in Waucoma Cemetery with Dewey Chizek, Fred Nehls, Howard Smith Theon Smith Dr. Gordon Luce and Ted Schmitt as pallbearers
Ray Emmerson Farley, son of Emmerson and Emma Farley was born in Waucoma and attended local schools. He was employed as a lumberman and lived in North and South Dakota, Nebraska Waucoma and Fayette. he married Lily Sperry on Nov 2,1910 and they were parents of four children.
Surviving are two daughters, Frances, Mrs Frances Beard, California and Doris, Mrs Walter Peterson, Davenport and a son Lawrence, Fayette; Six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, daughter Raynell, brothers and sisters.
