She graduated from Saint Phillip Catholic High School in 1965. On October 12, 1968 she married Thomas L. Sanders in Battle Creek. He preceded her in death on August 4. 1994.
Annette worked several years for Transamerica, Walters-Dimmick Petroleum, and CIS Carton. She also worked for Feldpausch Food Centers for six years and retired in 2005 due to illness.
Annette was a member of the Marletts Exchange Club for 32 years. She enjoyed reading, working on crafts, and spending time with her family especially time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Timothy (Trisha) Sanders of Marshall and Amy (Jason) Kenworthy of Burlington; grandchildren, Mason Sanders, Myah Sanders, Sophia Kenworthy, Sabrina Kenworthy, and Sydney Kenworthy; sisters, Cecilia (Frank) Flake of Novi, Diana Cooley of Texas, and Denise (Bill) Schultz of Mattawan; and seven nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral services celebrating her life took place on Friday February 19, 2016 at the Kempf Family Funeral Home Marshall Chapel with Pastor Richard Gerten officiating. Family & friends met following the services at the Kempf Funeral Home Reception Hall. Interment followed the luncheon at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
Family requests memorial contributions be made to the Oaklawn Hospital Auxiliary or American Diabetes Association.
