Born in Norton, a son of the late Joseph M. and Mary M. (Sears) Marshall , he lived in Norton most of his life, and had wintered in Orange City, Fla., for many years.
Mr. Marshall was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. He was an auxiliary police officer in Norton for 34 years and a former captain of the Chartley Fire Department for 15 years, where he served as a volunteer for 35 years.
He had been a carpenter at Alan Semple Construction Co. for 10 years.
Besides his wife, he leaves four sons, Richard A. Marshall ., Norman A. Marshall of Norton, A. Marshall and Gordon D. Marshall ; two daughters, Joyce A. Yode and Brenda C. Marshall ;He was the grandfather of the late Eric J. Yoder and brother of the late Joseph, Manuel, Frank, Peter, John and Mary Marshall , Madeline Dankowski and Clemetine Sousa
