GUYMON, Okla. — Oral L. Dixon, 96, of Guymon died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, in Heritage Community Manor.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Elmhurst Cemetery. Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m. in Grace Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Freeman officiating. Arrangements are by Bunch–Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
Mr. Dixon was born Nov. 15, 1919, in the family homestead north of Guymon to John Earl and Rosa Emma Henning Dixon. Oral and Mary Charlotte Rainey were united in marriage on Dec. 15, 1946, in Liberal, Kan.
Survivors include his daughter, Nancy Childress of Guymon; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Earlene Howell and Bonnie Winter, both of Guymon.
The family suggests memorials be to Heritage Community Manor in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
