Vera Ruth Walker the daughter of Prince Everrett and Leona (Miller) Tyler was born June 4, 1943 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with her Lord on February 12, 2016 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years, 8 months and 8 days.

Vera enjoyed her role as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and dearly loved each of them. Vera loved her children and grandchildren.

She cherished her time spent at church. She was faithful and enjoyed going to church and spending time with her church family. She especially enjoyed teaching Sunday School and telling the children about Jesus. Vera spent a lot of her time reading her Bible.

Vera touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Leroy Tyler; her sister Mary Hill; and two grandchildren Cody Hill and Nicole Rundle.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband of over 37 years Thomas Walker; her daughters Tamara Davis and husband Gary and Jennifer Hill and husband Jerry all of Tahlequah; her sister Opal Louise Poulter of Collinsville; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
