She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son Adrian Isom, as well as two brothers Frederick and Michael Isom, and two nephews Robert James (RJ) and Shawn Isom. Deborah also leaves to cherish her memory her six children. Including four daughters, Malika (Frederick) Daniel of Jacksonville, Florida, Latarsha (Tracie) Isom of Atlanta, Georgia. Laura Igle of District Heights, Maryland. Bertha Foster of Orange Park, Florida. Two sons, Paul (Veronica) Isom, Raymond (Erica) Igle, both of Providence, Rhode Island. She also leaves a beloved nephew Demond (Katherine) Foster of Orange Park, Florida. Deborah also leaves three sisters Ida (Michael) Blair of East Providence, Rhode Island. Lillian (Raymond) Shorts of Kissimmee, Florida. Theora (James) Fluker of Jacksonville, Florida. Deborah was also the Godmother to her baby sister Theora. She was the grandma (Nana) of 14 grandchildren, 7 greatgrandchildren, and an auntie to a host of nephews and nieces.
She worked for the University of North Florida for many years and achieved the status of supervisor. She had many hobbies but her favorite thing to do was to go to bingo... Sometimes she would win. She was a kind, loving, and honest person. Also, before her illness, she would attend church regularly and was a proud usher.
Visitation will be hold at Lampkins Patterson Funeral Service Monday February 15th, 2016 5pm-7pm. Service will be held at Lampkins Patterson Funeral Service Auditorium Tuesday February 16th, 2016 11am. Internment National Cemetery.
