Rachel Geneva Bell Chapman, 77, of 326 Jones Mill Road, wife of Lester Chapman, died Monday at Anderson Area Medical Center.
She was a native of Pickens County, daughter of the late John and Maggie Bell. She was a retired employee with Wometco and was an active member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Pam Holladay and her husband Chuck, of Central; a brother, J.L. Bell, of Greenville; two stepsons, Roger Chastain and wife Burnedette, of Greenville, and Dean Chapman and wife Laura, of Columbia; five stepdaughters, Darlene Chapman, Diann Barker and Dawn Lusk, all of Salem, Donice Kelley and her husband Gary, of Tamassee, and Delane Graham and husband Dale, of Seneca; two nephews, Jerry and Randy Bell, both of Greenville; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Ed McKenzie.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with burial at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 tonight at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons.
The family is at the home.
