After a very long, courageous battle with Parkinson's disease, Billie Archer Henderson died on Aug. 31.
Billie was born in Sand Texas on April 17, 1925 to Lucy and Richard ("Bud") Archer. She married Marshall Henderson on Dec. 23, 1944 in Los Angeles, Calif.
Billie was a true Christian who cherished her family and friends. She will be remembered as a person who asked very little, but gave so much.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Mary Archer, nephew James Taylor, and niece Sylvia Taylor.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years; sons, Derral and Linda Henderson of Hobbs, N. M., and Danny and Phyllis Henderson of Tow; grandsons, James and wife Deidre Henderson, and Glen Henderson, also of Tow; grandchildren, Marshall, Camrie, and Abby, all of Tow; sisters, Sarah and husband Richard Jackson of White Settlement, Carol Archer, Elberta Taylor and Maria Bhattacharya of Houston; brother, Kumar Bhattacharya and wife Meenakshi of Houston; sister-in-law, Laura Grant of Santa Fe, Texas:nephews, Rodger Taylor, Richard Jackson, Nelson Grant, Rajib Bhattacharya and Atanu Bhattacharya; and nieces, Norma Rollins, Cindy Kurtz, and Cathy Wilson.
